BALI IJEN TUMPAK SEWU BROMO SURABAYA TOUR 4 DAYS
Bali Ijen Crater Tumpak Sewu Waterfall Bromo Surabaya Tour 4 Days – Indonesia is known for its incredible natural and cultural wealth. One interesting and popular tourist route is the journey from Bali to Surabaya, passing through stunning natural destinations such as Ijen Crater, Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, and Mount Bromo.
Bali
The journey begins in Bali, an island known for its beautiful beaches, rich culture, and relaxed atmosphere. Bali offers a wide range of activities, from enjoying the beautiful beaches in Kuta, Sanur, or Nusa Dua to exploring the cultural heritage in Ubud or Besakih Temple.
Ijen Crater
After enjoying Bali, you can prepare to travel to Banyuwangi in East Java in the morning as the first step to the Ijen Crater. You will be picked up at your hotel in the afternoon and then drive to Ijen Crater.
After a day trip from Bali, you will arrive in Banyuwangi, the gateway to Ijen Crater. You will stay at a hotel near Ijen and continue Climbing the Ijen Crater at night. Climbing Ijen is an experience not to be missed.
The crater is famous for its blue fire, a natural phenomenon that can only be seen in two places in the world. The climb to the top of Ijen Crater starts around 2 am and takes about 2-3 hours to reach the top.
After arriving at the summit, you will be greeted by the sight of a vast sulfur crater and a beautiful turquoise-blue lake. The blue fire phenomenon occurs due to the burning of sulfur gas coming out of rock crevices.
After enjoying the beauty of the Ijen Crater, the journey continues to Pronojiwo, Lumajang, a district where the next destination is located, the Tumpak Sewu Waterfall.
Tumpak Sewu
Tumpak Sewu Waterfall is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Indonesia, often referred to as the “Niagara of Indonesia.” The waterfall is located on the border of Lumajang and Malang regencies.
With a height of about 120 meters, Tumpak Sewu offers a breathtaking view with the water flowing fast to form a beautiful water curtain.
To reach the base of the waterfall, visitors must pass through a fairly challenging path, but the effort will pay off with an incredible view. This challenging trekking trail is perfect for those who love adventure and adrenaline-fueled activities.
However, don’t forget to always pay attention to your safety and always be careful because the terrain is quite steep.
After enjoying the beauty of Tumpak Sewu, the journey continues to Mount Bromo, which is one of the most famous volcanoes in Indonesia.
Bromo
The final day of the tour begins with a trip to Mount Bromo to catch the sunrise, one of Indonesia’s most iconic attractions. The climb begins in the early hours of the morning, around 3 am, to reach the Penanjakan viewpoint.
From here, you can witness spectacular sunrise views with Mount Bromo, Mount Batok, and Mount Semeru looming in the background.
After enjoying the beauty of the sunrise, you can go down to the Bromo caldera, and climb to the top of the active crater. To get to the lip of the crater, you have to climb quite a lot of stairs. The fatigue will be paid off when witnessing the beautiful scenery of the Bromo caldera.
Mount Bromo also offers other breathtaking views, especially with the vast expanse of sea sand surrounding it.
Surabaya
After exploring Mount Bromo, the trip continues to Surabaya, the second-largest city in Indonesia. In Surabaya, you can visit several historical places and city icons, such as the Submarine Monument, Suramadu Bridge, or the Heroes Monument.
Surabaya is also famous for its culinary delights, such as rujak cingur, which is a must-try before ending your tour.
This 4-day tour offers an unforgettable experience by exploring the natural beauty and culture from Bali to Surabaya.
From Bali, climbing the mesmerizing Ijen Crater, marveling at the majestic Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, to enjoying the sunrise at Mount Bromo, every moment of this trip will be treasured. Surabaya, with all its attractions, makes for the perfect finale for this exploratory tour.
