BALI TO IJEN BROMO MILKY WAY TOUR 4 DAYS
Day 01 : Arrival / Pick up from Bali
Start from your hotel in Bali around 10.00 – 10.30 AM. Our staff will take you to the most western tip of Bali to reach Gilimanuk ferry port for about 4 hours by a private full AC car. Then, we will cross Bali strait with ferry for about 1,5 hours to reach Ketapang ferry port of Banyuwangi in the most eastern tip of Java Island. Proceed to the Hotel for check in then free leisure as individual activity.
(Staying at *** well recommended hotel, enjoying accommodation facilities, free leisure and having some rest in order to be prepare for night hiking in the next evening)
Day 02 : Ijen volcano & sunrise
00.30 AM, meet your tour guide at hotel’s lobby. then directly go to the basecamp at Ijen mountain. The journey takes approximately 1,5 hours. Upon arrival, getting prepare or have a coffee-break before start the activity.
After several preparations, start hiking to reach the rim of Ijen crater, ascending the slope for 3,5 Kilometers which normally takes 2 hours by walk. From there, you will enjoy stunning blue fire, burning Sulfur that spews blue light in the dark. When the sunrises, resting on the edge of the crater at an altitude of 2386 meters and enjoy the best panorama of the world’s largest acidic lake with its magnificent turquoise colored water.
After You enjoyed the natural scenery at Crater of Ijen and then descend the slope of Mount Ijen back to the basecamp. Driving back to the hotel, you may enjoy forest scenery with unique giant fern trees and several coffee plantations on the way. Takes 1,5 hours of drive until we arrived at the hotel. At 10.00 AM, checking out from hotel and go directly to your hotel in Bromo Area.
Blue fire is a nature phenomenon created by the burning sulphur, which can be seen during the night. Yet, it might be different every night depending on condition around such as humidity, wind’s direction and the heat from the sulphur itself. Thus, there is no 100% guarantee tourists would see it clearly. *This place is not recommended for people with asthma, heart attack or any other health problem at intermediate stage. Wear hiking shoes for more enjoyable trekking.
Day 03 : Bromo sunrise view
At 3:00 AM the 4WD (JEEP) will bring you to the world’s most famous view point at Mount pananjakan on the rim of the Tengger caldera to see sunrise with its young volcanic including Mount Bromo and an active Mount Semeru in the back ground is breathtaking the play light shadow with sunrise reach Mountain succession from the top to the bottom and the usual fog of the caldera.
Afterwards, the adventure is continued to an active Mount Bromo volcano. Then will take you back to the hotel for breakfast. And then after breakfast we continue the trip to Madakaripura waterfall, it takes around 30 drives from your hotel.
Bromo sunrise view point located south side across from Bromo Mountain. From this spot, you may have a sight of Bromo Tengger Semeru National park from above. The scenery is sunrise sightseeing, sea of sand at the bottom of the valley, Cemoro Lawang village, Mount Bromo and Mount Batok. As well as the highest volcano in Java, Semeru. Standing tall furthest behind as a background. *weather can be tricky, it’s cold and freezing before sunrise and hot and sunny during the day.
After visit Madakaripura waterfall we will take you back to your hotel. In the afternoon we will invite you to visit Bukit Mentigen Bromo, to see the sunset. Afterward we go back to the hotel. Free at leisure.
Before entering the waterfall area, you will use shuttle service with motorbike driven by local people called Ojek (interesting, eh? :D). Trekking on riverside seemingly fine until last part of the track. You will walk underneath the waterfall! (sounds wet and cool! :D). Ponco or raincoat and waterproof bag would be really usefull on this place to keep your belongings. *wear trekking sandals if you don’t want to get wet shoes 😉
Day 04 : Milky way of Kingkong hills
Wake up early morning, after that we will take you to Kingkong hill, to see thousands of the stars in the sky for milkyway. Afterwards we will continue the trip to Teletubies hill; there we can see the beautiful savanna that is almost green. And we will be back to your hotel for breakfast, take shower, packing, loading bags, to the vehicle then leaving bromo at 09.00 AM, then proceed transfer to Surabaya. Lunch may get on the way at local restaurant. Approximately arrive at Surabaya 15.00 PM. Drop off service – end of tour.
