Day 1 : Pick up from Bali
You have to prepare everything and get ready to start the trip. There will be a driver who will pick you up at the hotel in Bali. You will leave the hotel around 07:30 to 07:45 AM. You are not only accompanied by a professional driver but also a comfortable car along with a full Air Conditioner system. The driver gets you to Gilimanuk Ferry Port. You will sail across Bali to go to Java Island. Just be ready because you are about to spend around 8 to 9 hours to achieve Bromo. The estimation time is including having lunch and take rest. The trip to Bromo offers great scenery including the beautiful scenery of Baluran National Park. Next, you can go to the hotel in Bromo and take rest while enjoying the amazing scenery of the Tengger Mountains before continuing the next day trip.
Day 2 : Sunrise Penanjakan Bromo
You have to wake up earlier before 03:00 AM and get ready to start the next exploration. This day you will ride a 4WD Jeep to Mount Penanjakan. You have to go there on time otherwise you will lose the main attraction. The main attraction is the amazing sunrise and you are about to enjoy it from the sunrise viewpoint. It is the best spot to enjoy the sunrise in Bromo. It takes 1 hour from your hotel to the sunrise viewpoint. You will enjoy the beauty of the sea of sand before achieving the sunrise viewpoint.
The weather is extremely cold there and sometimes the area is covered by fog. The fog makes you stand above the sea of clouds from Mount Bromo or Mount Batok. This trip offers more than just amazing sunrise and fog. It is also offering the great scenery of Mount Semeru. This is the time to capture the highest volcano mountain in Java. The beautiful moment will end around 06:30 AM so you have to capture it immediately. Then, you will continue the trip to the peak of Mount Bromo. You have to take a walk and pass through around 250 steps uphill before achieving the peak. This is the best part where you can capture the amazing active volcano mountain on top of it. You have time up to 08:00 AM before going back to the parking area and hotel. After getting the hotel, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast and leave the hotel at 09:00 AM to go to Banyuwangi. It takes 6 to 7 hours including lunch so you will get into the city around 04:00 PM. You will check in to the hotel and take a rest for the next trip.
Day 3 : Ijen Volcano Sunrise
Just like the second day, you have to wake up earlier and leave the hotel on time. Our tour guide will pick you up at the lobby at 00:30 AM. The tour guide takes you to Ijen Mountain and it takes 1.5 hours. You are going to the base camp and enjoy a coffee-break before starting the trip. Just prepare your stamina because you are about to go to the rim of Ijen Crater. It is challenging hiking but worth it to do. You have to spend about 2 hours and pass 3.5 kilometers before achieving the location.
The main attraction in the area is the great fire, burning Sulphur. It spews blue light in the dark. You will also enjoy the most beautiful sunrise around the largest acidic lake in the world. When you are done enjoying the surroundings and scenery, the tour guide will lead you to go back to the basecamp. The trip to the hotel will pass through coffee plantations and it takes 1.5 hours before getting the hotel. You have to check out from the hotel around 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM and go back to your hotel in Bali. You will achieve Bali in the afternoon. Indeed, it is a great trip to try.
