After you enjoy the sunrise in Borobudur, you will be taken to a local restaurant to have breakfast.
The next destination will be mount Merapi. Once you have arrived in the mountain, you will start the journey from the basecamp of Merapi, which is around the area of parking. A 4WD car will be used to drive you on the areas of Merapi. During this Merapi tour, you will be able to witness several villages that have been shattered by the last big volcanic eruption that occurred in 2010. You will also be able to take a couple of pictures of this mountain from its best viewing point.
During the Lava Tour Merapi, it is best if you wear sunscreen to protect your skin since it is going to be hot from the sun. We also advise you to wear light clothes. After the Merapi tour, you will be taken to another local restaurant for lunch.
The last destination of this tour will be the Prambanan Temple. The drive to Prambanan will take about 1.5 hours. Once you have arrived, you will be guided by the local people to explore this temple on foot. In Prambanan, you will be able to see the warm and cozy sunset paired with the unique and magnificent view of the famous temple.
