TOUR DESCRIPTION :

Day 1 Prambanan – Merapi lava tour – Borobudur temple

Pick up from Yogyakarta hotel or Yogyakarta airport and then transfer to east side of Yogyakarta to visit Prambanan Temple. Known also as the biggest Hinduism temple compound. You fully explore Prambanan temple accompanied by certified local tour guide. Not only exploring the beauty and magnificent sculpture of Prambanan temple, but the tour guide will also reveal history of Hinduism culture which reigns over java centuries ago.

Afterwards, we will take you to northern side of Yogyakarta, at Merapi volcano’s foot. Merapi Volcano, is known as one of the most active volcanoes. Merapi lava tour is a safari activity, we will take you to explore Merapi volcano’s foot by 4WD car. Driving around villages that destroyed by devastation eruption occurred in 2010. You will witness the left over from one of the biggest volcano eruptions on 21^st centuries in Indonesia. People still keep the left over and built a small museum to reminds them the eruption. At the end of the journey, the car will take you to the nearest viewing point (formerly nearest village to the volcano), capture your best moment and enjoy the view from finest angle.

Take lunch at local restaurant then proceed transfer to Borobudur, a UNESCO world heritage site. Also known as the largest Buddhist monument, borobudur temple built on 9^th centuries. Borobudur not only has a very high artistic value, a great work as the evidence of human civilization in the past is also loaded with philosophical values. Raises the concept of Mandala that symbolized the cosmology of the universe in Buddha teachings. Exploring Borobudur temple, learn history and meanings of life value that carved and sculpted on the relief. Exploring Borobudur guided by certified local tour guide. Caprture best you best moment at Borobudur. Afterwards, check in at hotel and free leisure as individual activity

Day 2: Dieng plateau

After breakfast. Check out and we will take youto visit Dieng plateau for about 2 hours of driving. On the way, you may enjoy javanese road scenery, surrounded by 2 infamous mountains. Mount Sindoro & Mount Sumbing. A hazy hill within clouds that slowly descend people’s. farm site on the slope will be a spotlight during the drive to Dieng plateau. Arriving at Dieng then start exploring the area. Dieng has several destination point, such as lake view, crater view and temple view.

First, you will visit colored lake from viewing point. On this destination, take a walk up hill to reach viewing point from the top of the hill. Afterwards, back at parking area and proceed to visit sikidang valley. After sikidang valley then you will visit arjuna temple.

Lunch can be found on around dieng area. Follow your driver / guide suggestions for better option. After exploring Dieng area around afternoon, proceed transfer back to hotel in Yogyakarta.

Day 3 Jomblang cave adventure

Starting the tour early in the morning at 07.00 AM. Driver will pick you up at hotel and drive you directly to Jomblang cave basecamp. Will take around 1,5 hours of driving. At basecamp you would be handled by professional caving guide. All preparations and activity would be supervised directly by the instructor. Starting the tour at 10.00 AM by climbing down the cave for about 50 meters down. Further, you will take a walk to get inside the cave following muddy path. Once you get to the spot, you will see the sun beam lighting down the cave through its roof, which is also known as “light from heaven”. Capture your best moment guided by caving instructor. Proceed back to basecamp. Refreshment and lunch would be provided by jomblang’s staff. Afterwards, proceed drop off service to yogyakarta or requested location. Drop off – end of tour.
