TOUR DESCRIPTION :

Day 1 : Borobudur – lava tour – prambanan sunset

Starting the day early morning at 04.30. We will take you to Borobudur, a UNESCO world heritage site. Also known as the largest Buddhist monument, borobudur built on 9^th centuries. Borobudur not only has a very high artistic value, a great work as the evidence of human civilization in the past is also loaded with philosophical values. Raises the concept of Mandala that symbolized the cosmology of the universe in Buddha teachings. Exploring Borobudur, learn history and meanings of life value that carved and sculpted on the relief. Exploring Borobudur guided by certified local tour guide. Caprture best you best moment overlooks beauty sunrise of borobudur with mountmerapi and surroundings asbackground.

Afterwards, we will take you to northern side of Yogyakarta, at Merapi volcano’s foot. Merapi Volcano, is known as one of the most active volcano. Merapi lava tour is a safari activity, we will take you to explore Merapi volcano’s foot by 4WD car. Driving around villages that destroyed by devastation eruption occurred in 2010. You will witness the left over from one of the biggest volcano eruptions on 21^st centuries in Indonesia. People still keep the left over and built a small museum to reminds them the eruption. At the end of the journey, the car will take you to the nearest viewing point (formerly nearest village to the volcano), capture your best moment and enjoy the view from the best angle.

Take lunch at local restaurant. Follow’s your driver suggestion for better option. After lunch proceed transfer to east side of Yogyakarta to visit Prambanan Temple. Known also as the biggest Hinduism temple compound. You fully explore Prambanan temple accompanied by certified local tour guide. Not only exploring the beauty and magnificient sculpture of Prambanan, but the tour guide will also reveal history of Hinduism culture which reigns over java centuries ago. Last journey, capture your best moment at prambanan during sunset. After visiting prambanan, proceed transfer to hotel. Check in and free leisure.

Day 2 Keraton – Tamansari – Batik silver / cigar Factory – Kalibiru

Starting the tour after breakfast from your hotel at Yogyakarta, We will take you to visit Keraton and Tamansari palace. Located at city centre, this will not take long time to arrive at Kraton. Once you arrived at Keraton, you will accompanied by Abdidalem (local tour guide) who basically work for the palace itself. Exlporing Keraton also learning history lies within as respresentative of Javanesse culture, further we will take you to Tamansari royal bathing palace located nearby.

Further, we will take you to cigar Factory TaruMartani, one of the oldest and most authentich cigar factory with finest quality of cigar which been produced to be exported around the globe. Or tentatively visit Batik or silver industries.

Afterwards. we will take you to the southwest of Yogyakarta. Drive for 1 hour to the destination, you may make stop to have lunch at local restaurant. To get to the viewing point, we will drive you uphill to Kalibiru. Refreshing looks over the lake and nature surroundings. Upon arrival, take a walk to explore the area. Bring your camera to capture beautiful views over the lake from uphill. At kalibiru, there are several photo spots. After the tour around 4 in the afternoon, we will take you back to Yogyakarta city. Tentatively to make stop for dinner before drop off back to hotel. Rest and free leisure afterwards.

Day 3 Jomblang cave adventure

Starting the tour early in the morning at 07.00 AM. Driver will pick you up at hotel and drive you directly to Jomblang cave basecamp. Will take around 1,5 hours of driving. At basecamp you would be handled by professional caving guide. All preparations and activity would be supervised directly by the instructor. Starting the tour at 10.00 AM by climbing down the cave for about 50 meters down. Further, you will take a walk to get inside the cave following muddy path. Once you get to the spot, you will see the sun beam lighting down the cave through its roof, which is also known as “light from heaven”. Capture your best moment guided by caving instructor. Proceed back to basecamp. Refreshment and lunch would be provided by jomblang’s staff. Afterwards, proceed drop off service to yogyakarta or requested location. Drop off – end of tour.
