The drive to the Ijen basecamp will take approximately 1 hour, so you will have to be a bit patient. Once you have reached the Ijen base camp, you will then have a coffee break or a safety briefing before hiking on the Ijen volcano. After your coffee break, you will go hiking on the Ijen volcano. And once you have reached the top, you will bear witness to the breathtaking view of the blue fire and the crater of Ijen.
Once you are done viewing the fascinating view of the Ijen volcano peak, you will head back to the Ijen base camp. After you have reached the Ijen base camp, then you will go back to your chosen hotel and have a delicious breakfast. After that, you will check out of your hotel and go with our driver to Bromo, which will take a while. On the way to Bromo, you will stop at a rest area or a local restaurant to have a delicious lunch there.
Once you have reached Bromo, you will check in at a Hotel in CemoroLawang village, Bromo National Park Area. After that, you will have some free time to rest or do an activity if you want.
Day 3: Mount Bromo & Visiting the Madakaripura Waterfall
At the beginning of the third day, you will get picked up by a 4WD jeep with a private driver in the early morning at 03.00 AM and head to mount penanjakan. The drive to mount penanjakan, similar to the path of the Ijen base camp, takes approximately 1 hour to reach. Once you have reached mount penanjakan, you can take a coffee break and view the breathtaking sunrise. After that, you will go back to the parking area and head to the Bromo sea of sand. Once you have parked your car, you will walk to see Bromo’s crater to see the fascinating view of the crater’s at Bromo.
Once all that is done, you will head back to your hotel and have breakfast. After you’ve eaten breakfast, you will go to the Madakaripura parking area and shuttle service to the entrance gate by motorbike. Once you have done that, you will go river trekking to the Madakaripura and see the fantastic views of the waterfall, and once you have finished, you will head back to the parking area.
During this time, you can have lunch at a local restaurant. After that, you will head back to your hotel and wait there until the afternoon for pick-up. After that, you will go trekking to Mentigen to see the breathtaking view of the sunset. Once you have finished sightseeing, you can head back to your hotel and rest for a bit.
Day 4: Bromo Milky way sightseeing – Journey to Pronojiwo
During midnight (between 11:00 PM – 02.00 AM), you will be picked up by a private driver for multiple activities, such as milky way sightseeing, driving to king Kong hill, and going to Teletubbies hill. Once you have done all of those activities, you will head back to your hotel and have breakfast. After that, you will prepare for a checkout and go to Pronojiwo Village. On the way to Pronojiwo village, you will stop at a rest area for lunch. Once you have arrived at Pronojiwo village, you can visit the KapasBiru waterfall to see the beautiful waterfalls (Although this depends on your arrival time at Pronojiwo). Finally, you will check in for homestay, and you can spend the remaining time freely.
Day 5: Visiting the Tumpak Sewu waterfall & the Jodipan Malang and Departing from Bali
On the 5th and final day of the 5D4N exploration of Bali, you will get a wake-up call at 06.00 AM and have breakfast. After that, you will have trekking preparations and a safety briefing for your departure. On this last day, you will explore the Tumpak Sewu Waterfall to witness the impressive scenery and also visit Tumpak Sewu.
