Mount Bromo Milky Way Madakaripura Ijen Crater Tour From Surabaya 4D3N
Day 01 – Arrival
Day one, our team will pick you up at Surabaya. The location is up to your convenience. Later, our team will take you to the area of Mount Bromo and it may take about 4 hours of driving. After that, you can check-in to the hotel and the time is yours. The hotel is located near Mount Bromo so you can enjoy your time there for sightseeing, enjoying the weather, taking pictures of the surrounding areas, and so on.
Day 02 – Sunrise and Madakaripura Waterfall
Day two would be the time for you to witness the sunrise and visit Madakaripura Waterfall. To see the sunrise, you need to wake up very early because a Jeep will take you to Penanjakan Mountain’s viewpoint at 3 in the morning. This spot is pretty popular among tourists both domestics and foreigners.
The viewpoint is located at the Tengger caldera’s rims which will allow you to witness the stunning sunrise from Mount Bromo and Mount Semeru, two active volcanoes in Java Island. The view is bizarre and you should not miss the opportunity to snap some pics. After the sunrise, the adventure will be continued to Mount Bromo. You will enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and we continue the adventure to the Madakaripura Waterfall. It takes 30 minutes of driving from your hotel to reach the waterfall.
In the afternoon, the adventure takes you to the Bukit Mentigen Bromo. The hill will be the place where you can witness the gorgeous sunset. After that, you can have your free time at your hotel. You better prepare for your stamina before starting day two after all.
Day 03 – Milky Way of Kingkong Hill
You need to wake up pretty early to start the journey to Kingkong Hill because we will see thousands of stars in the Milky Way. All you need to do is looking up to the sky and you will see how bizarre what you see is.
After that, at 7 am we will go back to the parking lot and get back to the hotel so you can have your breakfast time. After your breakfast, the journey is continued because you will be transferred to Banyuwangi. The trip takes about 7 hours of driving.
During the trip, you can enjoy your lunch at the local restaurant. At 4 pm, you may have arrived at the 3-stary hotel in Banyuwangi and enjoy your free time for the day. Make sure you rest well because trekking to Ijen in the next day will require a bunch of energy.
Day 04 – Ijen Crater and Drop-off
The last day would be another good day you will be experiencing with our tour and travel team. However, you need to start very early or in the middle of the night. The journey starts at 00.30 am and the guide will be waiting for you at the lobby of the hotel. Later, you will head to Mount Ijen’s base camp. It may take less than 2 hours and you will be prepared before starting the trekking journey. Feel free to grab your coffee in the base camp.
It is important to always follow the instructions from the guide. Once everything is ready, the journey will be started. The first place you should tame is the rim of Ijen Crater. It may take you to get through 3.5 kilometers of ascending slopes which will take 2 hours of walking. However, you will see how stunning the blue fire during your walking journey. The blue fire is burning sulfur that makes blue lights in the dark. It also means that this kind of scenery cannot be seen during the day.
The guide will allow you to rest once the sun arises. You can enjoy the stunning scenery from the edge of the crater which is around 2,300 masl. What you see in front of you is the panorama of the largest acidic lake on earth. The water is turquoise and the view is simply magnificent.
After you have seen everything from Ijen Crater, the guide will lead you down the slope and get back the base camp. Later, he will drive you back at the hotel but the route is pretty stunning for sure.
On your left and right sides, you can enjoy the scenery of a lush forest with fern trees and plantations of coffee. The 1.5 hours of driving is worth your time. At 10 am, you will check-out from the hotel in Banyuwangi and then go to Bali. You may arrive at the hotel in Bali in the afternoon.
