For the first trip, we will head you to the Jomblang Cave. Jomblang Cave is one of the hundreds or maybe even thousands of caves in the karst area of Gunung Sewu. Jomblang Cave is a unique vertical cave with a good shape mouth. It was formed by the geological process of the collapse of the above soil and its vegetation (collapse doline) thousands of years ago.
To start the tour, our driver will pick you up around 07.00 AM from the lobby of the hotel that you are staying in (after breakfast). Then, our driver will directly drive you to Jomblang Cave, which takes about 90 minutes to go there.
The activity will start at 10.00 AM. And it will take about 1 hour preparation and short briefing from Jomblang’s safety team before exploring the area of the Jomblang Cave. Once you are arriving at the bottom, you can start to walk through the cave. The condition of Jomblang Cave is humid and muddy, and that is why you need to be careful and always follow the staff’s guidance for safety.
This activity will take approximately 90 minutes to explore the cave. After you finish exploring the Jomblang Cave, you will go back to the basecamp. You will have lunch at the basecamp with the other tourists. Here, the lunch will be provided in the form of a lunch box by the Jomblang Cave.
For the second trip, we will take you to visit Pindul Cave. Pindul Cave is a tourist attraction in the form of a cave which is located in Bejiharjo Village, Karangmojo District, Gunung Kidul Regency. Pindul Cave is popular as a place where you can ride a floating tire over an underground river flow in the cave, the activity is known as cave tubing.
Our driver will drive you to Pindul Cave which takes about 30 minutes and would arrive at the parking area of Pindul Cave. Upon your arrival, you will have the preparations for tubing activity. Afterward, you will get a short briefing that would be done by the staff who will take you to explore the Pindul Cave and its surroundings.
This activity will take about 2 hours in total. And of course, you will get an amazing experience by exploring the Pindul Cave. After the tour is finished, we will surely drive you back to Yogyakarta city which is for about 1 – 1,5 hours. You can also ask for a request to stop in a local restaurant for dinner which is as the sign of the drop off service or the end of the tour.
