This tour starts in the morning, which is around 08.00 AM. Around that time, our driver will pick you up from a pick-up point that you have requested. However, the pick-up point needs to be somewhere around the area of Yogyakarta. After picking you up, you will be taken directly to the temple of Borobudur.
In the Borobudur Temple, you will be able to see the beautiful view that this magnificent historic temple has to offer. During this trip, you will be accompanied by a local tour guide that is fluent in English. Your tour guide will unfold many stories behind the temple of Borobudur. There are so many craved stupas that are scattered along this huge temple. Besides being able to enjoy the view of these beautiful stupas, you will also learn many things about them. After you are satisfied with your exploration in the temple, you will be taken to Kalibiru Yogyakarta, which is located around the southwest of Yogyakarta. The drive to the exact location will take approximately 1.5 hours so you need to be ready for quite a long drive. However, we will make a lunch stop at a local restaurant on the way to the destination. Once you are done with lunch, the drive to Kalibiru will be continued.
During the uphill drive to Kalibiru, you will be provided with a refreshing view of the lake and its natural surroundings, which will definitely refresh your mind. Once you have arrived in Kalibiru, you will again be provided with a very gorgeous view of the beautiful lake.
Kalibiru is a stunning blue lake that will give you a refreshing outdoor adventure experience. We recommend that you bring a camera that will help you capture the beautiful view of the lake and its surroundings. There are also several great photo spots that allow you to capture the best view of Kalibiru. You can just explore the area and enjoy the beautiful nature.
Once you finish exploring, our driver will drive you back to the city of Yogyakarta. The drive back will also take around 1.5 hours, which gives you time to rest after a long day of exploration. On the way back to the city, there is going to be a stop at a local restaurant so you can have dinner.
After dinner, the drive to the city of Yogyakarta will continue. Our driver will then drop you off at a location that you have requested. This is where the Borobudur Temple and Kalibiru Yogyakarta tour ends.
